§ Mr. Ingram
To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will provide a figure for the number of staff in her Department covered by statutory sick pay.

§ Mr. Sackville
As at 31 December 1993 the Department of Health had 5,379 staff entitled to statutory sick pay.
