HL Deb 27 January 1994 vol 551 c80WA
Lord Lester of Herne Hill

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What proportion of the sales price of copies of the Official Report of parliamentary debates represents respectively (a) the cost of reporting the debates and supplying copies to Ministers of the Crown, their advisers, and other Members of Parliament, and (b) the additional cost of printing, publishing, distribution and sales to the public.

The Minister of State, Department of Trade and Industry (Lord Strathclyde)

I refer the noble Lord to the Answer I gave him on 10 January 1994 (Vol. 551, No. 19, col.WA11). It is not possible to identify separately the cost of copies supplied to government departments for the use of Ministers and their advisers.
