§ Mr. CryerTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) what representations he has received from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders regarding prohibition of use of vehicles older than 10 years; and if he will make a statement;
(2) what proposals he has to introduce legislation to curtail the use of motor vehicles manufactured prior to 1980; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. KeyNo representations have been received from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. There are no proposals being considered by the Department to curtail the use of motor vehicles which are more than 10 years old.
