§ Mr. CurryMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State holds regular meetings with Sir John Banham, the chairman of the Local Government Commission, to discuss all local government reorganisation issues, including the commission's progress. My right hon. Friend last met Sir John formally on 18 January 1994. I last met Sir John on 8 February.
