Whether they will now seek to place a reduced tax on repairs to listed buildings comparable to the VAT level on "second hand goods", which it is reported will be 2.5 per cent. in the case of "imported works of art".

No. The Government's policy is to maintain the simplicity of a single standard rate together with our existing zero rates.
