Mr. Dafis

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the schools in each education authority which have been considered for closure under the Education Act 1933.

Since 1 January 1994, local education authorities have published proposals under the Education Act 1980 to close the following schools:

  • Tynyfelin Primary (Clwyd)
  • Blaenau Primary (Dyfed)
  • Llanddeusant Primary (Dyfed)
  • Mynachlogddu Primary (Dyfed)
  • St. Felix RC Primary (Gwent)
  • Maendy Primary (South Glamorgan)
