To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans she has to counteract sexual harassment in the NHS.

Harassment at work in any form is unacceptable and should be treated as a disciplinary offence. Management and staff representatives in the Whitley council reached agreement last year on combating harassment at work. Employing authorities in the national health service are responsible for determining their own local policies on strategies to combat harassment at work, in line with this framework.
