To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department how many High Court judges there are; and how many are(a) black, (b) Asian and (c) women.

As at 1 November there were 95 High Court judges including six women. The ethnic origin of those appointed as High Court judges has not been recorded in the past, but none is black or Asian.
