§ Miss WiddecombeThe Companies Acts require the accounts of training and enterprise councils be lodged with Companies House where they may be examined by the public. The contract with TECs requires that they make publicly available their corporate plans, hold an annual public meeting and publish an annual report and audited statement of accounts. TECs are private companies and access to their meetings and to their registers of members' interests is a matter for the directors.
