§ Mr. Peter LloydThe table gives the amount of income which is declared by each county council and fire and civil defence authority for the five financial years 1990–91 to 1994–95. Figures for earlier years could be retrieved only by incurring disproportionate costs.
We are not aware of any case in which grant aid was reduced to take account of declared income. It remains our policy that local authorities should continue to benefit from income generate locally and they will be notified of the new arangemetns in time for 1 April 1994.
