To ask the Secretary of State for Health what is the total number of pharmacies in the west midlands; and how many dispense fewer than 2,000 prescriptions a month.

In the west midlands, all the 227 pharmacists dispensed fewer than 2,000 prescriptions a month in 1991–92, the latest year for which figures are available.
