§ Miss WiddecombeSpecial provisions are made only on a case-by-case basis, for annual recurring expenditure as a result of cases referred to the European Court of Justice. None of these cases arose as a result of the Single European Act, which does not contain any specific measures relating to social security. Provision for expenditure since 1 July 1987 is in the table.
