To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when the feasibility study into a four-way intersection between the A66(M) and the A1(M) will be completed and published.

There is no feasibility study being undertaken specifically into a four-way intersection between the A66(M) and the A1(M).

A study to inform the Secretary of State of the longer-term requirements of the Al (M) between Barton and Birtley will be completed in the near future. An assessment of all the interchanges on this section of motorway is being carried out as part of the study.
