§ Mr. SackvilleThe Newbury parliamentary constituency comprises most of Newbury district (with 81,106 of the total of 105,336 parliamentary electors on the 1993 registers) and a small part of Basingstoke and Deane district (with 833 of the 111,452 parliamentary electors in 1993), this information is shown in the table. The latest population estimates available relate to mid–1991. The estimates for residents aged 17 and over, plus 63 per cent. of those aged 16, at that date are 108,900 in the whole of Newbury district and 114,600 in the whole of Basingstoke and Deane district.
