757W(2) what percentage of women delivering in maternity units in his Department's hospitals in the most recent available year (a) in the United Kingdom and (b) elsewhere has episiotomies;
(3) what was the percentage of women delivering in maternity units in his Department's hospitals in the most recent available year (a) in the United Kingdom and (b) elsewhere (i) whose labours were induced, (ii) whose labours were of spontaneous onset and (iii) who had elective Caesarean sections;
(4) how many babies were born in his Department's hospitals (a) in the United Kingdom and (b) elsewhere in the most recent available year; and what were the numbers of live births, still births, deaths at 0 to six days after live birth and deaths at seven to 27 days after live birth of babies weighing (i) under 1,500g, (ii) 1,500g to 2,499g, (iii) 2,500g and over and (iv) babies whose birthweight was unstated (y) in the United Kingdom and (z) abroad.
