asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, in the light of the improving political and military situation in Sierra Leone, they will consider restoring to that country British financial aid which was withdrawn in early January.

I will have discussions in London shortly with representatives of the Sierra Leone Government when these issues will be discussed. I cannot anticipate the outcome of the meeting.
