To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with the Welsh Development Agency concerning the resignation of Linda Gilbody-Wood, the director of the skills development unit; what proposals there are to replace her; and if he will make a statement.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his answer of 4 February,Official Report, columns 340–41, if he will make it his policy in appointing a new chairman for the Welsh Development Agency to give due priority to the willingness of the appointed candidate to adhere to arranged itineraries and timetables in the course of inward investment missions abroad.
