HC Deb 18 March 1993 vol 221 c357W
Mr. Rogers

To ask the Prime Minister what steps the Government are taking to investigate shipments of United Kingdom arms to South Africa in the period 1980 to 1991.

The Prime Minister

The Government have no reason to make any investigations at the present time. If there is any evidence to support allegations that United Kingdom arms have been shipped to South Africa unlawfully, it should be passed on to the appropriate authorities.
