§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe Department's annual process of recosting of the defence programme looks at all aspects and activities to ensure that resources are used to best effect to secure Britain's defence needs. Some adjustments to individual capabilities will be required to match the defence programme to resources. As the support programme is not exempt from this, I cannot give any firm guarantees about RAF Chivenor's future.
