§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe and our EC partners believe that the Bosnian peace process, under the auspices of the international conference for the former Yugoslavia, represents the best chance for a settlement and an end to prolonged conflict and suffering. Negotiations are at a crucial stage. We are also devoting considerable resources to the provision of humanitarian relief to those caught up in the war.
