asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, following the implementation of the Second Banking Co-ordination Directive, the reported activities of the London branches of certain Dutch banks in promoting advance fee loan frauds have been referred to the Dutch supervising authorities or, if appropriate, to the police or other authorities.

This is a matter for the Bank of England. The Bank's power to reveal. information about its relations with particular banks, or with foreign supervisors or other authorities is constrained by the confidentiality provisions of the Banking Act.
