§ Dr. MawhinneyThe specialty reviews will be published, in full, later this month and will therefore be available for public scrutiny. They are independent advice to Ministers and the national health service, not policy and will form only one part of a complex jigsaw informing decisions about the pattern of hospital services in London. Where appropriate, there will, of course, be full public consultation about any proposals to close or move services.
