A prisoner refused to get off a cellular vehicle if he was handcuffed to an officer. Bit one PCO on the forearm and caused grazing to the other PCO's arm.

21 August 1992

Prisoner pushed Officer when told that he was to be escorted to the segregation unit for an adjudication. No injuries.

1 September 1992

A prisoner pushed a Supervisor in the chest violently. No injuries.

2 September 1992

A prisoner pushed unit supervisor in chest and then poked at him with his finger.

Member of staff being hit in the face when intervening to prevent fight between two prisoners.

A prisoner pushed a Unit Manager in the chest with both hands following an argument. No injuries.

A prisoner threw a bag containing kit at member of staff.

A prisoner emptied the contents of his bucket over a PCO.

Whilst being strip searched a prisoner threw footwear then proceeded to spit.

Prisoner head butted the officer causing swelling and bruising and a cut which required seven stitches.

Security Manager was struck twice about the head with fists. No injuries resulted.

The prisoner threw a piece of piping from the sink at Custody Officer causing bruising and a cut to officer's knee. Treated in the Health Care Centre.

20 December 1992

A prisoner assaulted the Segregation unit Supervisor with a mop handle whilst cleaning out his cell causing bruises to forearm.

23 December 1992

Assaulted a member of staff by punching him in the face and ribs.

31 December 1992

When in visits a prisoner threw chairs and smashed the fish tank, then produced a wood stick with a nail in the end and assaulted the Duty Security Manager. The DSM was taken to outside hospital for his hand to be x-rayed, but apparently sustained no lasting injury.

4 January 1993

During removal from cellular vehicle prisoner assaulted one officer and bit the hand of another officer. No lasting injuries to officers.

13 January 1993

A prisoner assaulted an officer by grabbing his throat and attempting to kick him. No lasting injury to officer sustained.

13 January 1993

A prisoner refused to return to his cell and spat at, headbutted and scratched an officer. No lasting injuries to the officer sustained.

2 February 1993

A prisoner assaulted a prisoner custody officer by head butting him in the face causing bleeding to his nose. No lasting injury sustained.

2 February 1993

A prisoner custody supervisor was hit in the face by a bread bun thrown at her by a prisoner. No lasting injury sustained.

3 February 1993

Prisoner became agitated at local hospital and pulled at officer's arm with handcuffs.

A prisoner, bit a custody supervisor on the leg causing minor bruising. No lasting injury sustained.

8 February 1993

A prisoner, whilst being restrained, head butted a custody supervisor and kneed him in the groin. No lasting injury sustained.

11 February 1993

A prisoner punched the officer in the eye. The officer was taken to hospital casualty department where stitches were inserted in the wound.

17 February 1993

Prisoner grabbed officer's shirt and attempted to drag him into a cell.

1 March 1993

A prisoner refused to go to court. He assaulted a member of staff. No lasting injury sustained.

8 March 1993

A prisoner assaulted an officer by kicking him on the arm. No injury sustained.

12 March 1993

Prisoner assaulted two officers. Officers sustained no lasting injuries.

4 April 1993

A number of prisoners were being relocated for good order and discipline. During this process two officers received minor injuries. No lasting injuries sustained.

30 April 1993

Prisoner pushed custody supervisor in chest and threw tea at him. No lasting injuries sustained.

28 June 1993

Two prisoners allegedly assaulted supervisor, custody officer and security manager during a disturbance causing injuries to all three which required medical treatment.
