To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much the market-testing programme has cost her Department since November 1992.

§ Mr. Sackville
The 'Department's market testing programme cost just over £870,000 up to the end of March 1993, the latest date for which figures are available. This includes consultancy costs, staff costs and associated overheads. Separate costs for the period from November 1992 are not available.
