To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is the total number of qualified social workers(a) in employment and (b) unemployed, for the last three years for which figures are available;

Foreign nationals: in employment by whether working full/part time, and ILO unemployed by whether claiming benefit: United Kingdom, spring 1992 (not seasonally adjusted).

3 Includes a small number of ILO unemployed persons who did not state in the survey whether or not they were claiming benefit.
