§ Mr. McMaster
To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many health and safety inspectors are currently employed in permanent duties in Scotland; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. McLoughlin
The number of inspectors permanently employed by the Health and Safety Executive based in Scotland at 1 January 1993 was 156.
