To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish the cost of waste disposal for each local authority in Wales in each year since 1990; and if he will publish estimated waste disposal costs for 1993–94.

The information available is given in the table. There are no estimated figures held centrally for 1993–94 since local authorities are still in the process of setting their budgets.

(c) Gross capital expenditure is defined as the provision, acquisition and enhancement of tangible fixed assets which continue to be of value long after their acquisition.

(e) Budgets. Information for capital expenditure is not available.
