§ Mr. CurryConsultancy fees totalling £304,082 were paid to Coopers and Lybrand, Touche Ross, Price Waterhouse, and KPMG, for the financial year 1991–92. A further breakdown of figures cannot be given as this information is classified commercial in confidence. These consultancy firms were involved in six areas of work in my core-department. This answer excludes contracts made for information technology work and those made by executive agencies. The precise number of contracts, and information for the last 12 months, can be provided only at disproportionate cost.
