To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many youth training places are currently available in the Bristol travel-to-work area.

Mr. McLoughlin

I understand from Avon training and enterprise council that as at 29 January 1993 there was a total of 258 YT places available in the county of Avon. Separate records are not maintained for individual travel-to-work areas.
