§ Mr. Archie HamiltonFor security reasons it is not our practice to disclose the complement of any regiment in the British Army however, as at 1 December 1992 the strength for the part-time element of the Royal Irish Regiment (home service) was 136 officers and 2,618 soldiers.
Corresponding figures for 1 December 1991 were 147 officers and 2,855 soldiers, for 1 December 1990, 148 officers and 2,939 soldiers, and for 1 December 1989, 154 officers and 3,283 soldiers.
