To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what steps he intends to take to improve the management of defence lands.

The general arrangements for managing the Defence Estate are working well, but we are always looking for improvements. My noble Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Defence has set in hand a management review.
