To ask the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on the current state of the embargo on the supply of weapons to Azerbaijan and surrounding communities issued by the conference on security and co-operation in Europe on 28 February 1992.

§ The Prime Minister
The CSCE's embargo on the supply of arms to the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh dispute still applies. The Government adhere to this fully and have not approved licences for the export of any military equipment to Azerbaijan or Armenia. Nor will we do so. Indeed, during the CSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm in December we called for an extension of this embargo to cover military assistance to the region generally.
