To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will list the hospitals for which current plans for closure have been referred to her Department, including the proposed dates for closure.

The following contested proposals to close facilities have been referred to, and are being considered by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State:

  • Clapham hospital
  • Leavesden and Harperbury hospital
  • Dates for closure or other changes can be announced only once final decisions have been taken.
