§ Mr. SackvilleThe Government greatly appreciate local fund-raising activities which supplement national health service funding, and continue to welcome a closer working relationship between the health service and local voluntary and community groups. We believe that the details on fund raising events are best decided at local level, and have no plans to introduce guidelines for NHS trusts and health authorities.
