§ 79. Mr. ByersTo ask the Secretary of State for Education how many applications from schools for grant-maintained status are awaiting a decision from his Department and how many have been awaiting a decision for more than(a) one month, (b) three months, (c) six months and (d) one year.
§ Mr. ForthAt 29 January, 150 applications for grant-maintained status were awaiting a decision by the Secretary of State. Of these, 132 have been awaiting a decision for more than one month, 21 for more than three months, six for more than six months and none for more than one year.
