§ Mr. BurtThe Child Support Act 1991 confers same 150 powers on my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State, many of them reflecting previous arrangements under social security legislation. About 80 per cent. of these powers provide for making regulations or orders and are in many cases procedural. The remainder cover straightforward administrative matters.
