§ Lord StrathclydeUK Nirex has been investigating a site adjacent to BNFL's Sellafield works for its deep repository for low and intermediate level radioactive waste since July 1989. I understand that, subject to completion of the necessary planning procedures and operational approvals, Nirex hopes to begin emplacement of wastes at the repository around 2009.
