§ Mr. DorrellIn 1990, the Commission proposed a directive concerning arrangements for the taking into account by enterprises of the losses of their permanent 373W establishments and subsidiaries situated in other member states. This is being considered by a Council working party. Most member states, including the United Kingdom, have major difficulties with the proposals in their current form.
