To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the amount of money received to date from each country towards the cost of Operation Granby; if he will give the amounts due from each country; and if he will make a statement.

The Government received generous support from a number of countries towards Operation Granby. Contributions in cash, amounting to some £2,049 million, were given as follows:

In addition to these cash contributions the United Kingdom also received considerable host nation support and various types of assistance in kind from 20 countries, including some countries which also made cash contributions, for operations in the Gulf.
