To ask the Prime Minister what plans Her Majesty's Government have to bring forward legislation to amend the Import and Export Control Act 1990.

§ The Prime Minister
Her Majesty's Government have no plans to amend the Import and Export Control Act 1990 which repealed section 9(3) of the Import, Export and Customs Powers (Defence) Act 1939. The Government intend, however, to introduce a new Export of Goods (Control) Order in the near future.
