Letter from J. Locke to Mr. John McAllion, dated 13 November 1992:

The Secretary of State for Health has asked me to reply in writing to the Parliamentary Question (No. 1779) you tabled on the health and safety policy of the NHS Estates agency.

NHS Estates currently adopts the policy of the Department of Health as a whole. A copy has been placed in the House of Commons Library as requested.

We shall be moving to our own offices in Leeds next year and may have to develop our own health and safety policy for staff in that building and administer it within the agency then.
