To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the current status of the United States Air Force deep space tracking station at RAF Feltwell; and when it was first declared operational.

§ Mr. Archie Hamilton
The United States Air Force deep space tracking system at RAF Feltwell has been working up to operational status since 1 October 1990. It is expected that the system will become operational in the spring of 1993.
