§ Mr. AitkenOn 10 November my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Defence signed a memorandum of understanding with the Russian Foreign Minister which sets out the terms for the supply to Russia of 250 nuclear weapons containers and 20 nuclear weapons transport vehicles. The design process is well advanced and delivery of these equipments is scheduled to commence in late 1993, with completion expected by the end of 1994. Preliminary equipment is due to be delivered later this year.
