§ Dr. MawhinneyRegional task force reports, current at 31 August 1992, indicate that 3,234 junior doctors, out of a total of over 25,000, are contracted for a maximum average of more than 83 hours a week. This represents a fall of 2,041 since the last returns in February and, since September 1990, a fall of more than 10,000.
