§ Sir George YoungThe report and its recommendations provide a helpful contribution to the debate on the provision of housing for disabled people. My Department has commissioned a major programme of research into the housing needs of elderly arid disabled people which is due to be completed in September this year. The issues raised by RADAR's report will be considered in the light of the results of this research.
