§ Mr. Nicholas BennettThe Health Promotion Authority for Wales has published its Heartbeat Wales evaluation strategy entitled "The Welsh Heart Programme Evaluation Strategy: progress, plans and possibilities", which has been subject to a scientific peer review. HPAW, in developing its strategy, has sought the advice of a wide range of external consultants. The evaluation was reviewed during 1989 by two international experts in the field of community programme evaluation, Professor Murray (University of Minnesota) and Professor Bosse Haglund (programme director of the Stockholm cancer prevention project), both of whom continue to give advice. In addition the Health Promotion Authority for Wales has an evaluation advisory group comprising United Kingdom-based experts.
