§ Mr. David HuntMr. Christopher Butler served the then Secretary of State, the right hon. Nicholas Edwards MP, from 1983 to 1985. Mr. Rod Richards served as my special adviser from 1990. It would not be appropriate o reveal the salaries of special advisers, nor in consequence the total cost of individual appointments, as these are individually negotiated taking into account previous outside earnings and are therefore confidential.
