HC Deb 09 June 1992 vol 209 cc88-9W
Mr. Harry Greenway

To ask the Secretary of State for Education when he expects to announce his decision on the schools' reorganisation proposals put to him by Ealing council and the churches; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Forth

My right hon. Friend proposes to reach a decision on the outstanding proposals in respect of the county and voluntary schools as soon as possible after his decision on the statutory proposals from the grant-maintained secondary schools to change their age of admission from 12 to 11. He hopes that will be in the course of the summer.
