§ Mr. KirkwoodTo ask the President of the Board of Trade (1) what specific steps he proposes to take to ensure that all member states honour the terms of the China/EC bilateral treaty, as it relates to the shipment of fine animal hair goods against agreed quotas; and if he will make a statement;
(2) if he will make it his policy that any proven over-shipment of fine animal hair goods from China in the last five years will be compensated for in the round of negotiations leading to a new bilateral EC/China treaty to take effect in January 1993;
(3) if he will create a separate sub-limit exclusive to cashmere fibre within the next agreement with China on fine animal hair goods;
(4) what steps he is taking to address difficulties relating to trade in fine animal hair goods from the Republic of Mongolia.
