To ask the President of the Board of Trade when he will respond to the fourth report from the Energy Select Committee of Session 1991–92, on renewable energy.

I have today placed a copy of the Government's response to the Energy Select Committee report on renewable energy in the Libraries of both Houses.

Mr. Win Griffiths

To ask the President of the Board of Trade, pursuant to his answer of 14 May,Official Report, column 169, if he will break down the figures provided by (a) private sector, (b) generating boards and (c) the European Commission.

Mr. Eggar
